Sure, Hank thinks Jesse's an addict and a weakling, but at this point their shared desire to get Walt is overwhelming. Hank now knows just how demonic his brother-in-law can be. Now, having Marie confess to wanting to poison her sister - that would be a moment worthy of this show.Īnother problem: I didn't buy Hank's cavalier, nasty attitude towards Jesse after Jesse made the video. Having Marie bitch to her psychiatrist doesn't make the cut. With only four precious episodes left, every moment has to count. It didn't end with Marie realizing that she has leverage over Skyler, or figuring out how to lure Walter Jr. Worse, the discussion didn't go anywhere. We already knew exactly how Marie felt about Walt. This one was a big step down.įor starters, the scene with Marie and her shrink felt like filler. But the first three hours of this final half-season have been shockingly good. It must be said: By Breaking Bad's standards, this episode was weak.
